Prepare for swimsuit season with hCG

February 18th, 2010

We all dread that time of year.  The swimsuits come out and it is time to pour our bodies into items we would not run around the house in.  A few months ago I told my husband, “I will never have the body I had in my 20′s”.  This was right before I was introduced to hCG.  Over the years I have tried many diets with the yo-yo affect.  I would lose a few pounds and then gain it back.  When I was introduced to hCG I really expected the same results.  What I have found is the most amazing reshaping diet I have ever been on.   Why is hCG different?  I would have to say that the difference is you lose just as many inches as you do pounds.  Places where you didn’t even realize your body was storing fat starts to break down and disappear.  Dr. Simeons protocol is set to reset your hypothalamus.  What this does for you is resets your weight in a maintenance period of 21 days following taking the hCG.  This keeps you from regaining and your body will remember this as your new base set weight.   If you are looking for a life changing method of weight loss consider it, because it has sure changed mine.  I think back to that statement I made and laugh.  I guess I can now say I won’t have the body of my 20′s again, but I will look better than I did then.

Tricks for Chocolate Delight/Bark for hCG Protocol

February 14th, 2010

Those who have tried Chocolate delight and it turns out bitter, check out Jacob’s video for tips.

His recipe is double the recipe below.  (Please note that we no longer recommend using Truvia or Lou Ana coconut oil.  Instead it is best to use SweetLeaf sweetener or the liquid stevia drops, along with a high quality coconut oil, all of which can be found in the marketplace.)

1 C. cocoa
1 C. Coconut Oil, melted
8 packages Stevia
Agave Nectar (P3 only)
Flavored Stevia – Peppermint, English Toffee (Optional)

Fluff cocoa with a fork to break up any chunks. Add melted Coconut Oil.

Mix in Stevia adding MORE or less depending on taste.

Add a few sticks or drops of Agava Nectar to taste and drops of flavored stevia to taste.

Also add Macadamia nuts, great for increasing Ketone’s.

The Basic hCG Terminology

February 6th, 2010

As a new member of the hCG club we come onto the scene and wonder where we fit in?  I will have to say that the hCG party train is the most welcoming group I have ever been involved with.  There is a complete support system for you on Facebook and You Tube to help you on your weight loss journey.  The hCG Party Train support group is like a family.  When no one else understands what you are going through they will always come in with advice, a cheer when you reach a success and a shoulder when you have a bad day.  We do however speak in code, and it may take a bit to completely understand what in the world we are talking about.  I decided to make a list of terms used in conversation for the seasoned hCG user.

VLCD- Very low calorie diet.  This is used to say you are on the 500 cal. part of the diet and most say what day VLCD12 for example.

Phases- There are four phases in the hCG Protocol and they can be a bit confusing.  Phase 1 is prior to taking the hCG and is considered a prep and cleansing time.   Phase 2 begins the 500 calorie diet along with taking the hCG.  Phase 3 is the maintenance phase which you continue a diet plan of 60% protein, no carbs, 1500 calories and eat very healthy for 3 weeks following phase 2 to help you stabilize your new weight.  You may be in Phase 2 many times if you are doing more than one round on the protocol.  For example if you do Round 1, Phase 2 then do the stabilization period of Phase 3.  I would then return to Phase 2 and not continue on into Phase 4.   Phase 4 is the lifetime maintenance of this diet.  You will continue to eat healthy, reintroduce carbs, and watch your inches and the scale, but you have achieved your goal weight and you will not be returning to Phase 2 taking the hCG.  The phases are abbreviated as P1, P2, P3, P4.  Rounds are very similar if you are on Round 1, Phase 2 it would look like this VLCD1 R1P2.   I will blog about the break down of each Phase and whats expected in each separately.

TOM- While being a common male name for most on hCG, TOM is not our friend.  He stalls our weight loss and interrupts the loses. TOM is Time of the Month for  your period.

Chocolate Delight- This can be abbreviated as Bark or CD, but it is talked about frequently enough to mention it.  CD helps increase your ketones and have better releases.

Releases- This confuses many new people.  hCG dieters have releases not losses.  When someone says I have released -.8 it means they lost that much that particular morning.

ACV=Apple Cider Vinegar

C Oil- Coconut Oil

COV- Coconut Oil Vinegar

Mac Nuts- Macadamia Nuts

Cali Kicker- Cayenne powder mixed in warm lemon water, or cayenne capsules taken with warm lemon water.
