MSM Rejuvenator Cream

July 19th, 2011

The best ingredients for our skin come from nature. We come into contact with so many man-made toxins every day, that the best way to heal ourselves is by learning from plants that have a natural immunity to aging processes. MSM Rejuvenator With Topical Ester C contains a therapeutic blend of ingredients that rejuvenate the skin’s natural ability to protect itself against wrinkles and excessive dryness.

What Does MSM Cream Do?

  • Works with Vitamin C to help cells absorb nutrients from food
  • Helps you grow new skin cells and reduce scarring
  • Reduces the effect of free radicals and deters aging
  • Puts MSM back into our diet, reversing the damage of processed foods
  • Aids hormone production, enzyme activity and tissue repair
  • Keeps hair glossy and smooth
  • Promotes a clear, youthful complexion
  • Aids in the synthesis of keratin and collagen
  • Fights the root causes of acne and rosacea
  • Promotes faster healing of sunburn

Carol and I have been using the rejuvenator cream for months.  One of the things we love about this formula it is for the face and body.  MSM and MSM cream are both a great addition to your Phase 3 protocol to help tighten your skin and keep it beautiful.

hCG and Your Skin

November 11th, 2010

hCG Skin Care

Is the hCG Diet is good for your skin?

More and more medical professionals are turning to Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) as part of their fight against obesity. Studies show that a calorie-restricted diet, along with hCG, significantly improves weight loss.

Did you know hCG contains added benefits for the skin as well?  Taking hCG helps reset the hypothyroid, boosts the metabolism and increases and individual’s capacity to break down fat. According to HCG And The Weight Loss Cure (2007), C. Jones says, “It is said to protect the endogenous fat and muscle which the body needs to stay healthy, but also [avoids the] sagging and loose skin known of excessive weight loss.” According to marketers, trials revealed that hCG diet drops had the surprise effect of diminishing the signs of premature aging like wrinkles, sun spots, dark eye circles and scarring.

It is very important to be mindful of your skin care regimen when you are on the hCG diet. Most commercial lotions, creams and cosmetics contain animal lipids – and fat matters, even when applied topically! Sometimes when fatty substances are absorbed into the bloodstream, the body mistakes them for hormones, which may disturb your weight loss. In his book, Pounds and Inches, Dr. Simeons recommends looking for special fat-free beauty products. He also says you must avoid products containing “dyes, paints, hormone, animal adipose and vegetable oil,” so look for “organic”  and read your labels.

Super Apple Skin Care

November 2nd, 2010

Super Apple for skin

The “Super Apple” Is The Latest Buzz In Skin Care

More than 100 beauty firms in Europe, Asia and America have added apple stem cells to their products, which they say is an “exciting anti-aging breakthrough.” Gwenyth Paltrow, Julianne Moore, Helen Mirren and Jennifer Lopez have all touted the benefits of this “super apple.” First Lady Michelle Obama became the latest celebrity to publicly endorse the ingredient.

Swiss scientists noticed that the rare Uttwiler Spätlauber apple had a much longer shelf life than other varieties. Upon searching for anti-aging properties, they made an amazing discovery. “We could show that the apple stem cells have a positive influence on the vitality of the skin stem cells. They made them more efficient and they can live longer,” said Beata Hurst, marketing and sales manager at Mibelle Biochemistry.

The skin rejuvenation potential of the apple stem cells was recognized immediately. New York Dermatologist Dr. Joshua Zeichner explains, “Stem cells are special cells that have the ability to renew themselves. In addition, they give rise to new cells that can become specialized to whatever tissue they belong to. Stem cells are important because they allow the body to renew and repair itself.”

Early clinical trials demonstrated that Swiss Apple stem cells could actually defend human skin cells against UV radiation. Moreover, just 2 % of the ingredient reduced the wrinkle depth and visibility of crow’s feet by 15 percent after one month. Could this ingredient be the “new fountain of youth,” as Vogue Magazine suggests? Dr. Zeichner says more studies need to be done, but the initial results show great promise.

Coconut oil for skin

Coconut Oil Benefits

Top 3 Benefits of Using Coconut Oil On The Skin

Carol has a blog specific to anti-aging and skincare.  Check it out Face For Life focusing on natural healthy skincare regimen.

Pure, organic, unrefined coconut oil is the ideal agent for skin care because it uses the healing properties of nature to improve our skin, rather than scientifically-engineered compounds like highly-refined vegetable oils, which are prone to free radical generation. As you know, free radicals cause permanent damage to skin tissues and prematurely age the skin. Furthermore, pure, organic, unrefined coconut oil does not evaporate immediately like water, but is able to penetrate into the cell structure to form a protective layer against damaging free radicals.

Here are some other benefits for your skin:

  1. Coconut oil moisturizes. A 2004 study conducted by the Makati Medical Center’s Department of Dermatology in the Philippines concluded that “Coconut oil is as effective and safe as mineral oil when used as a moisturizer.” Coconut oil improves skin hydration and increases skin surface lipid levels.
  2. Coconut oil fights acne and other skin conditions. The lauric acid found in coconut oil is anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal. A bioengineering grad student from UC San Diego confirms that the natural byproducts of coconuts fight acne when applied directly to the skin. People in the tropics have long used coconut oil to treat everything from eczema and diaper rash to psoriasis and fungal infections.
  3. Coconut oil eradicates signs of aging like wrinkles and liver spots. Coconut oil reduces our need for Vitamin E, fights free radicals, strengthens the skin’s underlying connective tissues, helps prevent sun damage, and hasn’t been stripped of its natural components through the refining process, says Biochemist Dr. Ray Peat.
